The Parent Organisation Ltd is a company set up to champion the rights of parents - the largest but least represented consumer group in the world.

It seeks without bias or indoctrination to provide parents with the knowledge, guidance and support they need to make informed choices about the way they raise their children in the belief that better parents create better parents.

Using telephone ballots and an internet-based forum it endeavours to keep its finger on the pulse of what concerns parents, to lobby on their behalf and to fight for their rights.

And through this website - it seeks to provide parents with a single point-of-reference resource through which they can learn from the failures and the successes of their peers.

The Parent Organisation devised and operates the Parentkind Approval/Approved accreditation scheme. Parentkind aims to provide accurate and up to date information about organisations, services and products that show consideration of parents¹ needs, and to work with those that do not.

Parentkind Approval/Approved will eventually become a recognised benchmark in which parents, as consumers, will be able to place their trust and which organisations, service providers and manufacturers will strive to achieve.

The Parent Organisation will also seek to provide centres of activity for children of all ages but always conceived and established for the benefit of parents and will host seminars and conferences aimed at providing parents with guidance and support in a variety of subjects.
